GRID LEGENDS DLC RISE OF RAVENWEST

When GRID Legends came to market in the early stages of 2022, much of the focus was on the story. Don’t get us wrong, the racing was pretty damn hot, but it was the narrative which held much of it together. That story expands today with the Rise of Ravenwest. You’re getting some new cars to race too!

Available right now for any racer who has GRID Legends in their Xbox, PlayStation or PC library, Rise of Ravenwest is a new story-based expansion which sheds a little more light on the history of Ravenwest. It throws in eleven new themed Story Experiences, focusing on their ace driver, Nathan McKane.

In Rise of Ravenwest you’ll get to embark on an epic new journey that starts with Ravenwest’s inception, following the events that propelled the team to stardom and fifth-time consecutive GRID World Series Championships.

But there are also new cars included too; four classic and powerful vehicles in the form of the BMW 320 Turbo Group 5, 1967 Chevrolet Corvette, 1971 Plymouth GTX, 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback. These will help the representation of Ravenwest represent the evolution and undertone of Ravenwest and come along with the addition to four new layout variants for the Miami track, Ramps and Boost zones have also been included to existing routes. Three new sponsored Career Events and a host of icons, liveries and banners for in-game use are also available in this pack.

Included in the pack are…

  • • 4 new Vehicles
  • • 4 new layout variants at Miami
  • • 11 new themed Story Experiences
  • • 3 new Career Events
  • • 2 existing routes with added Ramps & 1 existing route with added boost gates
  • • + new Liveries, Icons and Banners

“Constantly racing with a chip on his shoulder, navigating family expectations and criticism from the media, this new DLC gives us the opportunity to explore the story behind the series’ antagonist. There is more to his ‘take no prisoners’ racing style and ‘win at all costs’ mentality than the eye can see,” said Paul Lovell, Senior Games Designer at Codemasters. “We invite players to dig deeper into the story of one of the most interesting and controversial characters within the GRID universe, fighting off the competition and ensuring Ravenwest’s success no matter the cost.”

You’ll find Grid Legends: Rise of Ravenwest on the usual digital stores. It’ll cost you £8.99 should you call the Xbox Store home, with it then playable with the base game on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. You should be seeing it on the stores of PlayStation and PC too.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
