Over the last few months, SOEDESCO have been seen delivering a trilogy of 8-Bit RTS titles to Xbox One, with 8-Bit Armies, 8-Bit Hordes and 8-Bit Invaders, giving gamers some simplified RTS action. Alongside the release of the digital versions of these games, SOEDESCO have also created some super Limited Edition physical copies – and we have the 8-Bit Armies Limited Edition for Xbox One to unbox and take a first look at.
8-Bit Armies (and 8-Bit Hordes and 8-Bit Invaders) embraces the old-school feel of real-time strategy, providing more than an inkling of a C&C feel in the process. With multiple units to command, a lovely retro 8-Bit style, and the chance for you to attempt to play out multiple strategies, if you were a fan of C&C from back in the day, and have found the more recent trends of zombie killing and Chicken Dinner hunting just a tad tiresome, then you could do worse than check them out.
But it is the super 8-Bit Armies Limited Edition for Xbox One that we are here for today and should you wish to add something special to your collection, or just can’t be bothered with the digital vibes the game has previously bought, it is certainly something to consider.
