Everyone remembers Blood Bowl 2, the brutal mash-up of the Warhammer fantasy world and American football, right? Well, it’s about to get legendary!
A little over a year since its initial release, Cyanide’s Blood Bowl 2 is preparing to take to the field again in the form of a Legendary Edition. Fans will surely be excited by the fact it’ll offer all the official races of the tabletop game such as the sly Goblins, as well as a new race called the Kislev Circus with their ferocious Tame Bears. For the first time, teams can be made up from a combination of different races – just imagine the pure chaos of leading all the best players together in one team. You can expect to see all these races and their star players entering the new Khemri stadium too.
It’s not all about the races though. There’s a new Solo Career mode to get stuck into and a Challenge mode aimed to put your skills to the test in some rather crazy situations. As for the multiplayer aspect, some new options and tools will be implemented by developers Cyanide – at the request of the community – to enhance the possibilities and enable the opportunity for players to communicate together as well as setting up their own leagues and competitions online.
Blood Bowl 2: Legendary Edition will be available to buy as a standalone for newcomers, whilst also being available as an expansion for current players, both of which are expected to release later this year. Stay tuned for more information as we get it.
