We’re nerds, and two topics that get us hot around the collar are Arthurian legends and the tales of HP Lovecraft. Now, we didn’t expect those two to necessarily meet, but meet they have, all within the upcoming The Hand of Merlin. To help us on that journey, Room-C Games offered us a chat with their CEO and founder, Robert Sajko.

It's the latest to make the most of the roguelite RPG angle, but today the Arthurian legend that is The Hand of Merlin has been fully detailed and dated. It'll be here before you know it too.

We're seeing more and more games move from the physical board game scene over to the virtual world, with Asmodee Digital having already taken Gloomhaven to the land of PC. It's picked up some decent acclaim on Steam too, along with some seriously good 'Very Positive' reviews. Very soon that same game will be coming to console.

We would have put our house on Nacon and the development team at KT Racing on delivering a new WRC title to PC and console this year. That house would have been safe too, as today they announce the most complete rally game yet - WRC Generations.

Whether you stumbled upon Ogre way back in the 1970s when it arrived in board game form via Steve Jackson, or in more recent times as it burst onto the Steam scene, there's a fair old chance that you would have enjoyed what was provided. Now though it's time for console folk to get in on the action, as Ogre: Console Edition drops onto Xbox, PlayStation and Switch. 

Dan Beckerton, developer of Spirittea, is the kind of person to make you ashamed with how much you’ve achieved in life. He’s the developer of beautiful nurturing sim Spirittea, creating something to rival Stardew Valley, but he’s also managed to do it all on his lonesome. We jumped at the opportunity to interview him.

Promise that your new game has been inspired by Stardew Valley and in our eyes it's already going to be a winner. There's much more than that to Spirittea though - and we cannot wait for it to launch on PC and console later this year. 

We don't often cover Kickstarter campaigns, but every now and then a new game idea pops up on there that is both interesting and intriguing. The latest to get our ears twitching is that of Operation Highjump: The Fall of Berlin - especially now that it has been confirmed to come to Xbox. 

Divination may be sold as a cyberpunk themed, dark graphic novel, but to us the most interesting part is the opportunity to become an all-seeing eye, living out the life of an enigmatic fortune teller. 

For many the constant grind of game development can be all too much to handle. But what would happen if the game you were creating suddenly dragged you in, trapping you inside the creation you have put together? That's the basic premise of Behind Closed Doors: A Developer's Tale. 

Brick-breakers may have been around since the dawn of time, but we love them nonetheless, lapping up the chance to smash as much as we can, as often as possible. It's just that which we'll be doing in Shatter Remastered Deluxe.

The Visual Novel scene is alive and thriving, with near weekly new drops filling out the genre. Today we learn that those wishing to kick back with a Visual Novel on Xbox will soon be well catered for, as Milky Way Prince - The Vampire Star looks set to break out of the PC scene and drop onto console.
