Earthlock relaunches with numerous improvements – minus the Festival of Magic

-

Anyone who had the chance to experience Earthlock: Festival of Magic back in late 2016 will know it to be a fantasy, turn-based RPG that was set on the beautiful but mysterious planet of Umbra. However, with all the thrilling story and neat RPG elements that it had within, the developers simply do not think it was good enough, deciding to add to the game, fixing any issues in the process. Enter Earthlock – without the Festival of Magic tag!

Earthlock Shouldhavebeen Edition if you prefer, does what it says on the tin. This version of the game contains everything that the developers believed ‘shouldhavebeen’ in the original release, but for whatever reason were not.

This means gamers will be able to experience a re-thought, developed story with more depth, character and humour, as well as new scenes, new characters, improved cutscenes and much more. As well as this, side quests have also been added to the game for added content, whilst mini-games (think treasure hunting!) will also crop up.

If you are unsure of what the game actually entails, then our full review of the original will help you out. But in a nutshell, Earthlock tells the story of desert scavenger Amon and a group of heroes discovering the secrets of Umbra and fighting a growing evil in the process.

For newcomers to the world of Earthlock then this edition is the most complete offering of the game. You can pick it up right now for £23.99, although there is currently a little discount available on that price.

Get out there – Umbra needs you!

Game Description:

Desert scavenger Amon soon finds himself in his life’s adventure when he crosses paths with a most peculiar creature back home in Zaber. Join Amon and other remarkable heroes in this turn-based fantasy RPG, on an unforgettable journey across the world of Umbra; a mysterious, beautiful but harsh planet that stopped spinning thousands of cycles ago. With a unique set of customizable characters, all with their own personalities and journeys of self-discovery, you will scavenge, explore and fight your way from the everlasting day-side and into the darkness of perpetual night. To save Umbra you must unlock its secrets, expose the shadows, and defeat a growing evil beyond your wildest imagination!
