Richman 11 Review

There are just about enough modes to keep things interesting in Richman 11 but it isn’t brimming with content, even after ten other versions of it.

Cyber Citizen Shockman 3: The Princess from Another World Review

Unfortunately, Cyber Citizen Shockman 3: The Princess from Another World is simply another game for achievement fodder from Ratalaika Games.

The Legend of Icaro out now!

Remember when we used to game for fun? Before a time of achievements and trophies where there was no cumulative way to know how much of a ‘gamer’ we were? I miss those days. If you do too, then you may be pleased to hear that The Legend of Icaro is out now on Xbox and doesn’t appear to have any achievements associated with it. At least at the time of writing.

This Week in GTA Online: Panther Statue at Cayo Perico and Black Friday Discounts

It’s fair to say the Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: Definitive Editions didn’t go down as well as planned, and no amount of bug fixing will help gloss over the fact those classic games were released in that ‘remastered’ state. When they released though, there may have been an anticipated dip in GTA Online activity. If that was you though, now is the perfect time to jump back in with the weekly offerings for GTA Online.

Party Games aplenty in Crazy Trucks

If ever there was a vehicle that emphasised fun, it would be the “anything but subtle” monster truck. How can you not smile at anything with wheels that size? Therefore, making a party game centred around them makes complete sense, and that is what we have here. Go monster trucking in Crazy Trucks on Xbox and Nintendo Switch.

Surviving the Aftermath Review

All this adds up to an enjoyable sim builder title. But that is all Surviving the Aftermath is, as it doesn’t provide anything new to the genre, nor to the post-apocalyptic setting it chooses to adopt. There is this constant feeling that something new is just around the corner as its progression and upgrade system speed is spot on, but unfortunately nothing new comes and you are left with a sense of familiarity throughout.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition Review

Work has gone in to the Anniversary Edition to ensure it fits within Skyrim and the lore surrounding it as a whole; so much so, that if this is your first-time playing Skyrim, you won’t recognise what is base game and what is from the Creation Club content.

Punishing Action-RPG Thymesia heading to consoles in 2022

Having recently suffered a delay to the PC release of Thymesia is unfortunate. However, on the plus side is the great news that Thymesia is now also arriving on next-gen consoles in 2022!

PAC-MAN MUSEUM+ Brings a new Curated Collection in 2022

As iconic as video game characters get, PAC-MAN is up there with the elite tier. This almost spherical being has been a part of pop-culture since before pop-culture was a gauge of success within media. Older than most gamers, PAC-MAN will continue to be around longer than many too. Which is why the news that a new collection of PAC-MAN games is coming in 2022 is always big news.

Defeat the Black Mantis Clan in Okinawa Rush

Few games say “old-school” like a side-scrolling beat ‘em up does. As technology advanced, 2D art was no longer a limitation and became a design choice. 2020’s Streets of Rage 4 reminded us all that beat ‘em ups were the way of life for many gamers in the ‘90s. And now we have Okinawa Rush releasing on Xbox to remind us once again of those glorious days of beat ‘em ups.

Total Arcade Racing is total arcade racing

Does anyone remember those mats that were like a top-down view of a road network that kids used to have? I always wanted one of those. Now though, I don’t need one, as Total Arcade Racing releasing today on Xbox looks like those mats and looks set to provide even more fun than manually driving your cars around the carpet.
