There is huge hype surround the upcoming release of Farming Simulator 22; perhaps more than we have ever experienced for a farming title. So far though we've seen little in terms of how things will play out gameplay wise - but all that is set to change with the world premier gameplay reveal that is due to drop at FarmCon.

You may not think it's possible to have a platformer in which you can't run, but Blitz Breaker has smashed onto Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch to prove otherwise.

2021 has been a busy old year for the Dead Drop Studios team, seeing them push out a whole plethora of Outbreak titles to console; mostly in the form of Xbox Series X|S Optimised experiences. There's a pretty high chance that you've already enjoyed travelling across the USA with The Crew 2. After all, it's been three years since the original launch and some 30 million players have taken in the franchise since the first game dropped in 2014. Now though, just as Season 3 of The Crew 2 rolls out, we find The Crew 2 Special Edition arriving at the starting grid - and this doesn't just bring the base game, but adds in a smattering of new cars for good measure.

We're right in the middle of the post-E3 lull; a time when the big developers take a few weeks away in order to prepare themselves for the months ahead. But that doesn't mean us players can't grab any new games and with the latest set of discounted titles present in the Xbox Deals With Gold and Spotlight Sale for 6th-12th July 2021, the opportunity to get involved in some brilliant new experiences comes to the fore.

The GAMESIR F7 Claw is GAMESIR’s attempt at making the whole tablet gaming scene more accessible, giving players who frequent it the option to utilise physical buttons alongside the usual on-screen touch controls. It works well too - if you can find a game that supports it.

With a short Challenge Mode, a very brief Arcade offering, and less than an hour of gametime required for everything to be done and dusted, there’s little that Super Destronaut DX-2 is able to muster up. If you enjoyed the swiftness of the original game, and fancy picking up some cheap and easy Xbox Gamerscore, you’ll want to get shooting here. But otherwise, this is a Ratalaika Games title that will fast be forgotten.

We're all for keeping things fresh with the addition of new content every now and then, but CI Games are fast on the verge of missing the target with the add-ons they are throwing out for Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2. You see, on the back of numerous previous skin packs, four more options are now in place for players to consider.

As gamers we're used to seeing new titles arrive in remastered or rehashed form, as developers take much loved classics from yesteryear and bring them right up to date for a modern audience. That normally means going back a decade or two for the source material. Walden, a game on Xbox though goes further - way back to the original Henry David Thoreau book from 1854, before bringing it all into the virtual world.

Three years ago Super Destronaut DX blasted its way to console, with a follow-up, Super Destronaut: Land Wars then found mixing up the gameplay a couple of years later. Now though Ratalaika Games have brought the true sequel to Xbox, PlayStation and Switch - Super Destronaut DX-2.

There is much you can blame Monty Python for, with film and TV holding it as inspiration for many. But slowly and surely that same Python vibe is making moves in the gaming scene with Joe Richardson's The Procession to Calvary one of the finest examples. It just so happens that it's now playable on Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
