Compulsion Games may have been 'acquired' by Microsoft Studios, but the real big news surrounding the studio in our eyes is confirmation that We Happy Few will soon be bursting out of Game Preview and hitting the world with a full release. 

We saw it first shown off at the Microsoft E3 briefing, but already we have more details emerging. If you liked Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light, you are absolutely going to love Metro Exodus.

Anyone who has played Laser League - especially with a group of mates in tow - will understand the massive draw behind the light-speed arcade experience. With multiple character classes available and some node collecting gameplay which is both tense and and frantic, it's a great time waster that ensures any online multiplayer session can end with a bang. Now though Laser League is expanding, and the new super cheap DLC brings some decent enhancements. 

Those gamers growing up with the current generation of consoles will know no different, but back in the day it used to be fine and dandy to delay the release of a game in order for it to hit the world in its very best capacity. These days however the day one patch and post-launch amendments are par for the course. But in my eyes that seriously affects the hype surrounding the launch of a new title. I mean, if a game isn’t ready to be released, why release it? Why can’t both publishers and developers get around a table and decide what is the best for a game in the long run because dropping out only half a product does nothing for anyone.
